Home to the Grover Bees!
Welcome

The Grover Township Fire Protection District proudly protects 2,500 people living in an area of 19 square miles. Our department is a public department whose members are strictly on a volunteer basis. We have an ISO rating of 4. Our main sources of revenues are the 3 mill tax levy on real property, and contributions from the generous people living within the fire protection district.

The Grover Township Fire Protection District is governed by a 5 member board of commissioners who over see the financial operations of the fire department. The commissioners are appointed by the County Judge for terms of one to five years.

New Brush/Pump Truck
Written by Administrator

Our new Brush Truck as arrived. 2009 Ford F350 Diesel, 4X4, 4 Door, Flat Bed.  We are actually taking all the equipment off of our current brush truck, moving it to the new truck.  Then we're taking our high volume pump off our oldest truck, and moving to our current brush truck, which is only a few years old.  Thus, we'll have a 4-door brush truck, and a much newer pump truck.  Pictures now on the Department Trucks Page!
